How is ShoppingMule.com making money?
Every time a user clicks on a link and buys something from a store advertised on ShoppingMule.com, the store pays us a commission based on the sale amount. At times, we might also promote a brand, a product or a store for a fix amount.
What is Price Drop Alert?
The Price Drop Alert feature allows a subscribed user to be notified when the selected product / products are on sale. Think about it as a shopping list. Smart shoppers are patient and create a list of products they want to buy then…, they are looking for the best possible price. The sale can represent a lower price when the seller decides to discount that specific product, or by using a coupon code in order to get a discount or free shipping. Free shipping still saves you money.
How do I set the Price Drop Alert?
- First of all you must be logged in into your ShoppingMule.com account.
- Search and find the desired products.

Go to the product page and click on Set Price Drop Alert. A message “Price Drop Tracked” will appear.

To view the products set in the Price Drop Alert, go to the Price Drop Alert menu under the search bar.

- Here you can view and manage ( remove from alert ) the products you are monitoring. When the price will drop, you will receive an email notification containing the sale details. You can also see the discount details on the right side.
Why sometimes the price on ShoppingMule.com is different from the one on the seller's site?
Even if we are constantly processing a lot of data from many online retailers, and we're doing our best to keep everything up-to-date, sometimes the stores will change the prices a few times a day. By the time we get the information, and we process it, it might be a slight time difference. Also keep in mind that we combine the available promotions, in order to establish the best price, as well as the best offer / deal.

Breaking news are top deals that don’t last long. As an example, a store decides to make a short time sale 1-2 hours or 1-2 days. Since they are very short term sales, we display them at the top of almost every page, so our audience can benefit of the discounts if they are interested in those products.
What are the Latest Shopping News on the home page?
Those are news about retailers. It could be anything that we consider important, such as new product releases, new collections, or even flash sales and short time deals.

How do I ask questions about products?
- Log-in into your ShoppingMule.com account
- Go to the desired product page.
- Scroll down on the page under the price comparison grid.
- Write your question and click on “Ask A Question” button. Your question will be manually verified by admin and posted, so other users can view it and answer it. Before your question is approved by admin, you can still delete or edit it. Once the admin approves it, you will not be able to modify it or delete.
How do I answer a question?
- Log-in into your ShoppingMule.com account.
- Just under the question click on the “ANSWER THIS QUESTION”. A text box will appear. Write your answer, then click “ANSWER”. Your answer will be manually verified by admin and posted. The same as in case of a question, once the admin will approve it, you will not be able to delete or edit your answer.
Can I post links in Questions and Answers?
Yes, links from the allowed domain names. In fact, to avoid spamming, only links from ShoppingMule.com are allowed. We consider that there is no need to post different links. For example, if you want to answer a question about a product and want to suggest a better or similar product, we’re sure you can find it here. ShoppingMule.com has millions of products available.
How do I rate a seller and/or review products?
- Log-in into your ShoppingMule.com account.
- Go to the product page. On the price comparison grid, click Rate Seller. Select stars rating level, write your comment and submit. Your rating will be manually verified and approved or rejected by admin. If you want to post a product review, just click on the "Write a Review" button, select the stars rating level, write your review and submit. Please be honest, we don’t like spam.
Do I need to register?
Not for basic navigation such as finding products, coupons or even purchasing them directly on retailer’s online store.
Why should I register?
When you register as a member, you'll have access to different tools such as the Price Drop Alert that will allow you to monitor the price on the selected products and notify you when the price drops.You'll also be able to receive notifications about coupons and promotional sales when they become available, or to post product reviews, answer questions, rate sellers, and much more.
How do I register on ShoppingMule.com?
1. Start by clicking on the "Sign in / Register" icon located on the top of the every page on the top right next to the search bar.
2. Click on the "Register" button located on the right.
3. Input your first name / last name & email address.
4. Create a password following the password rules. Re-type password.
5. Check the “I’m not a robot” box and click on the “Create Account” button
6. You will receive an email with a confirmation link to verify / activate your account. Click on the link to activate.
7. Once you activate your account, go back to the login page and sign in.
What is the difference between The Best Price and The Best Deal?
The Best Price indicates the lowest price you can purchase the product as a single item purchase, meaning you are only buying that specific product 1 time.
The Best Deal see it as a volume discount..., in other words, buy more save more type of deal. As an example, a store might offer the same product in a single purchase at $10 but if you buy 2 or more of the same product you can buy it for less..., for example $8 each.
Another example would be a BOGO deal or even using a promotion to get a higher discount if your purchase surpasses a certain amount. For instance, let's say you want to purchase a product that cost $10 but the store provides a promotion saying "Buy over $35 and get 15% Off discount on the entire order", this way you get a better deal if you use that promotion. Sometimes there are more volume discounts at the same time. To see them all, just click on the "Show all Volume Discounts for this Product" button situated at the bottom of the "Best Deal" card. To benefit of the available discount/discounts, if there is a coupon code you must use at checkout, click on the "Get Coupon & Buy" button, then on the coupon code to copy it. Use the link shown under the coupon code to go to the retailer's page and make your purchase. Use the coupon code at checkout.
