The Lind DE1950I-4480 is an Isolated DC/DC Power Adapter designed to power your Dell compatible computer. The adapter incorporates the highest degree of circuit protection for your Toughbook and the adapter itself. This isolated adapter provides a regulated DC output to power laptops and peripherals from a DC voltage source. Voltage spikes or surges occurring on the input voltage line are filtered by the adapter, thus eliminating potential damage to your powered device. Electrical isolation between input and output prevents ground loops and allows the negative voltage output from the power source to be used positively, when required. The rugged design of the DE1950I-4480 adapter makes it ideally suited for use in harsh conditions. The adapters electronics are protected in a rugged aluminum case, filled and sealed with epoxy, that protects the electronics from damage caused by shock and/or vibration. Efficient power conversion circuits with extensive protection circuitry provide reliable and continuous power in the most demanding environments. Special input voltage filtering is in place for input voltage ranges of 20-60 volts of DC power. The adapter incorporates special input filtering that is designed for this highly unregulated power source.
