Physik kompakt 1. Mechanik, Fluiddynamik und Wrmelehre enthlt im ersten Teil die Einfhrung in die Mechanik, wie sie blicherweise im ersten Semester geboten wird. Als Vorbereitung auf die Vorlesung der theoretischen Mechanik beschrnken sich die Autoren darauf, das Verstndnis der Grundlagen zu vermitteln. Zudem wird ein kurzer Ausflug in die relativistische Mechanik geboten. Der zweite Teil vertieft die Darstellungen um die Schwingungslehre und fhrt hin zur Mechanik der starren Krper. Die Mechanik der strmenden Flssigkeiten und Gase bildet die Verbindung zur Einfhrung in die Wrmelehre und bereitet auf die Vorlesungen zur Thermodynamik des Hauptstudiums vor. Im Anhang werden die Wellen- und Transportgleichungen behandelt.
