JET SSC Series Electric Chain Hoist 5 Ton, 15 Ft. Lift, 3 Phase, 230V/460V JET SSC Series electric hoists combines safety and durability to operate in commercial and industrial applications. All models incorporate a slip clutch overload protection mechanism that prevents the hoist from lifting damaging loads above its rated capacity. They are available in single or three phase configurations to suit your electrical needs. Single phase models have a thermal overload protection design that keeps the hoist from overheating, while the three phase models feature a reverse phase relay that protects the hoist from incorrect wiring. The industry proven DC electro-magnetic brake increases safety by holding the load even when power is interrupted. The maintenance-free gear train incorporates a sealed oil bath, for reliability and durability. The JET SSC series electric hoist is available in 1/2 ton to 5 ton capacities with standard lifts of 10, 15, and 20 feet (custom lifts available). SAFETY Overload Protection- Slip Clutch design prevents the hoist from lifting damaging loads above its rated capacity Reverse Phase Relay- A safety switch that protects the hoist from incorrect wiring of the power supply DC Electro-Magnetic Brake- An industry-proven safety feature that secures the load even if power is interrupted to the hoist Limit Switches- Upper and lower limiting switches increase safety by preventing the load chain from over traveling DURABILITY Sealed Gear Train- Maintenance-free gear train incorporates a sealed oil bath that eliminates upkeep Grade 80 Load Chain- Grade 80 black oxide coated load chain for durability Control Pendant- 24 volt push button controller with cable strain relief system for durability and reliability in industrial and commercial settings All Steel Construction- Fully enclosed, all steel plate construction with a durable powder coat finish keeps out moisture, dust and debris lengthening the life of the hoist PERFORMANCE Three Phase: Duty Rating- H4 Duty Cycle- 30% Standards Industry- Complies with OSHA Regulations, ANSI / ASME B30.16 and HST-1 Standards Certification- Load tested to 125% of capacity with certificate Controls- NEMA 4X compliant push button control pendants.
