The rods capabilities are maximized to the fullest with the both Spiral X Core and Hi-Power X, creating a rod with tons of power, casting performance, accuracy and something that's simply a pleasure to fish with. Fuji Titanium Si C guides line the length of each model, offering great corrosion resistance, weight reduction, and casting distance. Hi-Power X Hi-Power X utilizes diagonally wrapped carbon tape that runs up and down the length of the blanks outermost layer to reinforce its twist resistance. This also allows Shimano to perfect precise actions for the blank, specifically tuned for big game and the trolling tactics that go with them. Spiral X Core Construction Spiral X Core blends Shimano's original Spiral X technology with Toray Nanoalloy technology, creating a blank that has the 10% more torsional and 15% more compressional rigidity.
