The Mustad Assault Wide Gap Hooks take the traditional EWG option and elevate for anglers to dominate the water with. From the start, Mustad incorporated their Alpha Point Technology into the hook, where a slimmer, sharper profile hook point profile is achieved without the loss of strength. This hook point readily grabs tight to striking fish and fast hook penetration is achieved that requires little to no effort on the user end. Soft plastics are kept in an ideal orientation thanks to the Z-bend just behind the line tie, reducing chances that the nose of the plastic slides down the shank. The eyelet is epoxied at the opening which protects the softbait and your line, especially for those who direct tie with thin braid. A new Tak-bend places the point above the eye but in-line with your bait, improving presentation, weedless capabilities, and hookup ratios. A nano-thin Titan X finish creates a sleek, gun-metal look that seamlessly glides through with hook sets, while also improving sharpness of the hook for the long run.
