In order to cleanly traverse through obstructions like grass, brush, and other pieces of structure, the jig head features a pointed nose and angled eyelet. The hook-eye itself is slightly recessed for further snag-resistance. The jig's smooth oval surface makes it easier to skip under boat docks, laydowns and other overhanging cover. The SMH Jig Head is molded around a medium-light wire 4/0 round bend needle point hook for quick and easy point penetration on light lines. A specially made welded wire bait keeper helps keep soft plastics of all kinds locked in place even after multiple bites. Purpose built to be paired with the Z-Man SMH Worm Z, the SMH Jig Head will also do well with a variety of soft baits including worms, lizards, and creatures.
