The perfect shaky head style jig for enticing bites from finicky bass, the Z-Man SMH Jig Heads were designed to precise specifications that will increase your success when finesse fishing around grass and structure. In order to cleanly traverse through obstructions like grass, brush, and other pieces of structure, the jig head features a pointed nose and angled eyelet. The hook-eye itself is slightly recessed for further snag-resistance. The jig's smooth oval surface makes it easier to skip under boat docks, laydowns and other overhanging cover. The SMH Jig Head is molded around a medium-light wire 4/0 round bend needle point hook for quick and easy point penetration on light lines. A specially made welded wire bait keeper helps keep soft plastics of all kinds locked in place even after multiple bites. Purpose built to be paired with the Z-Man SMH Worm Z, the SMH Jig Head will also do well with a variety of soft baits including worms, lizards, and creatures.
