Built on the most advanced blanks made right here in America, the NRX+ blank utilizes Shimano's renowned Spiral-X technology for unparalleled performance marks across the board. Spiral X construction consists of multiple layers comprised of carbon tape that tightly winds the blank diagonally in opposite directions, resulting in enhanced torsional rigidity without adding extra weight. The result is an extremely responsive blank with ultra-fast recovery for increased casting distance, heightened sensitivity, and drastic weight reduction. In terms of components, the NRX+ is equipped with only the finest available. A hybrid guide train consisting of Fuji Titanium Si C and Ultra-lite RECOIL guides provide long, accurate casts while being the most durable guide train ever wrapped onto a bass fishing rod. Shimano's custom CI4+ reel seats maximize the angler's connection to the blank for unsurpassed bite transmission and all-day comfort. The handles are finished with premium quality, hand selected cork handles in either split-grip or full-grip configurations depending on the model.
