The Shimano Poison Adrena Rods seek to set a new standard in high-performance bass fishing rods. The Poison Adrena brings together a slew of proprietary Shimano technologies that together provide the ultimate blend of strength, sensitivity, and functionality. The first thing anglers will notice when picking these rods up is their remarkably light weight. This is in part thanks to a brand new Spiral X Core blank construction that utilizes multiple layers of material wound in a criss-crossing diagonal pattern to increase strength while using less material than standard blank construction does. This blank construction process helps eliminate blank twist for better casting distance and accuracy. The introduction of Shimano's full carbon monocoque handle not only helps to keep the rod incredibly light, but also significantly enhances sensitivity. The monocoque handle is seamlessly integrated with the blank, allowing even the slightest vibrations to transmit from the rod tip, down through the blank, and into your hands without skipping a beat. The Poison Adrena features a Perfection XT CI4+ reel seat ergonomically designed for superior comfort during those long days of continuous casting while out on the water. Shimano rounds out the design with Fuji Stainless Steel Si C-S K-Type guides plus a Titanium Si C tip. Built to appease the most demanding tournament anglers and the most discerning tackle enthusiasts, the Poison Adrena will redefine your ideas of what a high-performance bass fishing rod is capable of.
