The Talavera Type Slow J was designed to be fished with a slower and more methodical tempo. The parabolic action of the rod allows it to deeply load and unload to provide the eloquent presentation desired when targeting anything from bottom fish to pelagics on slow-pitch jigs. All models feature minimalist high density EVA split grip handles for uninterrupted rod action all the way throughout the blank, and are wrapped with Sea Guide Zirconia guides for smooth drops and fish fights with braided lines. Available in three different casting models ranging from Medium-Light to Medium-Heavy in power, the Talavera Type Slow J is the perfect slow-pitch jigging for novices and experts alike.
