Product Details
The Rapala Rap-V Blade Bait is a versatile, thoughtfully designed blade bait with loads of extreme vibrating action for a multi-species appeal. Built on a metal frame and durable plastic body, the Rap-V is perfectly balanced to achieve a tight vibration on both the fall and the retrieve. These blade baits can be fished on a standard chuck-and-wind retrieve to draw reaction strikes from actively feeding predators at a variety of depths, and also excel when fished with a lift-and-fall cadence, or "yo-yo" retrieve as some call it. By quickly lifting the rod tip, Rap-V aggressively darts upwards with an intense vibration, and will then flutter towards the bottom when allowed to fall on slack line, effectively imitating a wounded baitfish fleeing from predators along deeper bottoms. The bait features two separate line-tie points that differently affect the bait's falling action, along with quality VMC hardware including a duo-lock snap, a round bend treble hook on the tail, and a round bend double hook on the belly to help reduce hang-ups.
