Whether you're looking for a pencil popping rod for Northeast beaches, a "weight and bait" stick for Hatteras Island, or a rod to heave up to a pound of lead well past the breakers, the Team Daiwa Surf Rods have you well covered. Blanks in the Team Daiwa Surf Series are made with Daiwa's exclusive High Volume Fiber (HVF) construction from a low-resin, high-modulus carbon graphite material. This construction keeps the blanks light and sensitive while providing fantastic strength. Both casting distance and accuracy is enhanced thanks to X45 technology, where a 45 degree bias construction eliminates blank twist and keeps all components properly aligned during the cast. These rods have a custom look with Fuji black matte hooded reel seats that are exclusive to the series.
