A tried-and-true technique for catching striped bass that's regaining popularity over the past few seasons, flutter spoons are great at getting striped bass to strike out of frustration from the intense flashing and constant flutter right in front of their faces. Simply drop a spoon down to the bottom and bring it up a crank or two. Quickly lift the rod tip upwards to bring the spoon up in the water column, then let the spoon fall on slack line. The spoon will flutter as it falls, vibrating and flashing in a way that simulates an injured bait fish. Repeat this motion and expect to get bit on the fall. The Jigging Flutter Spoons are available in two different sizes and weights for fishing different depths and are available in four colors that stripers are known to love. They feature heavy duty hardware including swivels, split rings, and Jigging World ZBlade Siwash Hooks that are up to the challenge of bringing in cows.
