This line is woven with high quality Japanese fibers for fantastic tensile strength and virtually zero stretch, making it exceptionally sensitive for feeling your way around cover and detecting bites. The thin diameter and smooth texture of the line allows for dramatically increased casting distances especially with spinning tackle. The green color offers limited visibility in the water for applications where a stealthy approach is required. The packaging on all Contra Braid features a unique Sidewinder tool where anglers can use the suction cup on the back of the spool to keep the spool stationary as it spins for easier line spooling.
