Built on Shimano's most advanced blanks to date, the Terez BW rods benefit from three proprietary Shimano blank technologies - Hi-Power X, Spiral X, and UD Glass construction. Spiral X construction consists of multiple layers of carbon tape that tightly wind the blank diagonally in opposite directions, resulting in enhanced torsional rigidity without adding extra weight. UD Glass greatly enhances rod strength while retaining the ability to flex. This combination of rod technologies increases the structural rigidity of the rods so that they remain true under load while enabling anglers to efficiently transfer power through the blank for the much needed fighting power in heavy offshore applications. These advanced high-speed trolling rods feature durable Fuji Si C Guides and a Winthrop roller tip for smooth payout of drag when a big wahoo, tuna, or billfish gets hooked at high speeds. These rods are sold as blade-only, allowing anglers to pair them with whatever straight, bent, or adjustable uni-butt best suits their application.
