Equipped to take on some of the toughest challenges in the deep, the Banax Kaigen 1500TM Electric Reel offers ease-of-use and unwavering power to offshore anglers of all stripes. These powerhouse electric reels are the ultimate kite fishing, deep dropping, trolling, and even daytime swordfishing workhorse. Equipped with a twin motor design, the Kaigen 1500TM has two different retrieval modes for different purposes. The high speed motor setting is perfect for quickly bringing baits up to the surface or fighting smaller species of bottom fish, while the slower high torque motor setting is geared towards grinding out long battles with monsters of the deep like swordfish and tuna. Both power settings offer substantial pulling power and variable speed with the use of the adjustable speed lever. An easy-to-read LCD screen displays the depth and allows for easy control over the automated jigging function and other features. Sealed electronics make for a washable design that can take a splash or two and keep on ticking.
