Jigging World Nexus 2.0 Conventional Rods Setting the bar high to which other inshore rods can only attempt to follow, the Jigging World Nexus 2.0 Conventional Rods give the angler a versatile option for bottom fishing, casting plugs, jigging, and more. The original Nexus swept the market by storm with its performance and unbelievable value, exceeding all expectations at a fraction of the price to its competitors. This new 2.0 version continues down the same path as its predecessor, only further enhanced with componentry, aesthetics, and key performance characteristics. All New Toray 24T Japanese Carbon Fiber Blank At the core of each Nexus 2.0 of rod, its 24T Carbon Fiber blank is sourced from Toray's Japan factory. This factory has a widely known reputation as the leader in development of the most premium carbon fiber sheets in the world, used by many of the top manufactures of fishing rods. This enhanced raw carbon fiber improves upon strength, durability, and sensitivity of the rod blank used, dramatically boosting performance and fishability. The blank is finished off with a textured carbon fiber tape, reinforcing the integrity of the rod blank with the added benefit of improving the overall aesthetics. Refined Componentry Conventional models in the Nexus 2.0 line utilize a custom ergonomic double locking reel to firmly hold your favorite reel and eliminate potential hot spots for a comfortable grip in hand. Premium EVA furniture makes up the foregrip and rear grip of each rod, durable, soft to the touch, easy to clean, and with the right amount of tactility to offer a non-slip grip. The length of the rod is outfitted with Fuji's new Concept 0 ring guides, effortlessly shedding line for best snag free line dispersion. The guides are spiral wrapped, mitigating any torsional issues and stabilizing the rod under load. A hook keeper is newly adopted to these 2.0 versions, fixed just above the foregrip to readily secure your lures, jigs, bucktails and more with a mo.
