Shimano Terez BW BFC Spinning Rods Designed in collaboration with some of the top tournament captains in the business, the Shimano Terez BW BFC Spinning Rods deliver on performance and capability, built to handle large billfish with ease. Pitching live baits is a common tactic to gain that extra bite offshore, working exceedingly well for instances of finding them tailing on the surface or a quick option to reach for when they follow your dredge or ballyhoo to the boat. Shimano incorporates both Hi-Power X and Spiral X technologies within the design of the Terez BW BFC rod blank, working to reinforce and stabilize the blank for peak performance. Both technologies work together to cutting weight without losing strength, with the added ability for Shimano to carefully design each rods action and taper. Fuji Si C guides run the length of each rod model, with a High-Density EVA foregrip and rear grip for comfort and long lasting durability. Hi-Power X Hi-Power X utilizes diagonally wrapped carbon tape that runs up and down the length of the blanks outermost layer to reinforce its twist resistance. This also allows Shimano to perfect precise actions for the blank, specifically tuned for billfish and the tactics that go with them. Spiral X Construction Spiral X Construction consists of multiple layers of carbon tape that tightly winds the blank diagonally in opposite directions, enhancing torsional and compression rigidity without adding extra weight.
