Platinum Hook Kingfish Rods feature a soft tip to ensure anglers do not pull hooks from the soft mouth of a king mackerel, while the strong backbone of the rod will allow you to get that true smoker king within gaff range quickly. Available in two models, a 20-50 and a 30-50 with an upgraded reel seat and a slightly stiffer construction, the Platinum Hook Kingfish Series offers a range of rods that are capable of handling the meanest king mackerel around, whether you are fishing out in the gulf off of Mississippi, Florida, or the Carolinas.
