Built to meet the demands of the world's most skilled tournament-winning captains, the Shimano Terez BW Uni-Butt Roller Stripper Conventional Rods are the ultimate rod for offshore trolling. Built on Shimano's most advanced blanks to date, the Terez BW rods benefit from three proprietary Shimano blank technologies - Hi-Power X, Spiral X, and UD Glass construction. Spiral X construction consists of multiple layers of carbon tape that tightly wind the blank diagonally in opposite directions, resulting in enhanced torsional rigidity without adding extra weight. UD Glass greatly enhances rod strength while retaining the ability to flex. This combination of rod technologies increases the structural rigidity of the rods so that they remain true under load while enabling anglers to efficiently transfer power through the blank for much needed fighting power in heavy offshore applications. The Terez BW Roller Stripper Rods feature the best components in the business, including durable Fuji Si C Guides and a Winthrop roller stripper and tip to help withstand extreme drag pressures from pelagic heavyweights like tuna, wahoo, marlin and more. These rods are sold as blade-only, allowing anglers to pair them with whatever straight, bent, or adjustable uni-butt best suits their application.
