Handcrafted in Woodland, Washington, the G Loomis IMX-PRO V2S Saltwater Fly Rods were built to continue the commitment Loomis has set for decades to provide anglers with the finest tools of the trade to elevate their time on the water. Whether it be offshore chasing mahi-mahi, pelagics and other species to fishing the inshore flats for tarpon, bonefish, redfish, and stripers, the wide lineup of the IMX-PRO V2S has a rod ready to tackle your favorite gamefish. Loomis tuned this fly rod for improved tracking in the wind, its strength to lift generous amounts of line for a re-cast, and fish fighting control. You will notice in use Loomis developed power through the bottom half of the rod butt and a slightly tighter tip that minimizes tail loops for improved tracking and line pick-up. Its blank is constructed through a blend of proprietary technologies, Conduit Core and GL7 Resin, which delivers a surplus of strength and impact resistance without the extra weight. A full wells premium grade cork grip locks into your hand for all day comfort, while a custom aluminum reel seat with added fighting butt locks your reel down and allows you to put more energy into the fish.
