A graphite core rod blank with Toray Carbon wrapping delivers this rods incredibly lightweight feel with a satisfying deep flex that runs the whole length of the rod when loaded. Fuji K-frame guides run the length of the rod and are available in both traditional conventional or an acid-wrapped layout for angler preference. A Fuji reel seat locks down the Shimano Torium Star Drag reel, a compact, rigid, and powerful option that has proven itself to be a dependable option for anglers coast to coast. It's ultra-smooth drag is ready to accommodate lighter braided line that many slow pitch anglers use, while still having all the guts to put the hammer down on reef fish intending to swim back to structure or the lightening fast pelagic species. The Torium reel features Shimano's S-Compact body design, where its B-Side Plate is up to 25% more compact in hand, allowing for extra comfort and better control. It's A-Side Plate has the handle, drag adjustment, cast control knob, and houses its gearing. For the angler looking to elevate their start into slow pitch styled jigging, this combo provides great capability with solid performance, quality, and a price hard to beat.
