Product Details
The Jigging World Raptor Rods are designed to handle both inshore and offshore techniques including chunking and trolling. Constructed with a durable carbon blank, these rods are capable of taming almost any fish in our waters. The Heavy model is well-suited for inshore fishing and can handle mojos and umbrella rigs for Striped Bass, as well as Tuna when they are nearby. For overnight fishing trips, the Extra Heavy model is the ideal choice. It can handle larger catches with ease. The Heavy model can accommodate a reel size of up to 30, while the Extra Heavy model can handle a reel size of up to 80. If you are using offshore reels, it is recommended that you opt for the aluminum unibutt version that features a #2 size unibutt.
