Greatly improving upon one of Shimano's most successful line of saltwater rods, the Shimano Tallus PX Spinning Rods make use of advanced blank technologies for unrivaled performance in their class. Specializing in versatility, the Tallus PX eliminates the heavy and bulky feel that often comes along with rods deemed as "multipurpose boat rods", which are generally uncomfortable to use. Built on blanks featuring Hi-Power X reinforcing technology, the Tallus PX increases overall strength and responsiveness while keeping the rod blank lightweight and comfortable to fish. The Hi-Power X blank is built with an outer layer of carbon tape that tightly winds the blank diagonally in opposite directions, resulting in enhanced torsional rigidity to reduce twist and ovalization. Hi-Power X technology enhances performance by transferring energy efficiently through the rod to increase casting distance and provide improved lifting power when fighting fish. When it comes to components, the Tallus PX is outfitted with Sea Guide Zirconia Guides, and features an EVA foregrip and diamond wrap shrink tube reargrip. Ready to put in some serious work on any vessel on any coast, the versatile Tallus PX is a great option for any saltwater angler who is live bait fishing, chunking, bottom fishing with heavy weights, or even trolling.
