Modeled from a 3D scan of a live octopus, the Savage Gear 3D Octopus is equipped with all the appendages and features of the actual living creature for unmatched realism. These incredibly lifelike lures feature eight independently mobile tentacles that produce a tantalizing action with little to no effort. The TPE plastic construction is highly durable, yet remains supple for a free flowing motion in the water. Embedded in the bulbous head is an internal rattle chamber that can help draw predators towards the lure in murky waters, along with a unique adaptive line-tie point that allows the lure to self-adjust the tow-point for maximum performance in response to how you are fishing the lure. The 3D Octopus can be casted or slow trolled, but it is most effective with a vertical jigging approach over reefs, wrecks, and rocky bottoms where octopus like to hide. Built around a heavy duty 6X hook that won't straighten under heavy loads, coastal anglers can use the 3D Octopus to target big reef fish on heavy drag settings with confidence.
