Tsunami Salt X II Surf Spinning Rods With performance, sleek looks, and outfitted with premium componentry, the Tsunami Salt X II Surf Spinning Rods were meticulously designed to give the surf bound angler greater capabilities and enhance their experience on the water. High Performance Blank Technology At the core of this rod is its proprietary 30-ton rod blank, constructed with HALO blank technology and 100% nano-carbon scrim throughout its entire length. Its design has a very high carbon density to make the blank exceptionally lightweight and strong, along with achieving great sensitivity so the angler can feel more bites and even lure movements to improve their game on the water. The blank dimeter may feel and look exceptionally thin for their ratings compared to others on the market, but it is met with much thicker blank walls to eliminate any sacrifice durability or strength and keep its crisp actions. Through casting various lures and baits, anglers will find the blank loads easily and has a lightning-fast recovery. This is ideal for those less aerodynamic lures such as metal lips to reach further distances and punch into stiffer winds, while mitigating the wear and tear on your body through a full day of casting. The blank ultimately does greater work for the angler, placing the energy back into your lure on the cast. Two-piece models are configured with a tip to butt ferule construction, saving weight, thinning blank diameter, and improving overall performance to feel and act much like a one-piece rod. Top of the Line Componentry and Design Outfitting the length of each rod are Fuji black titanium guides, extremely light weight, strong, and impervious to the harsh saltwater environments that often corrodes and rusts lesser options. Shorter length rods feature K Series guides, while longer rod models such as the TSSTXIISS972MH or TSSTXIISS1072MH are outfitted with RV reduction guides. Both guide systems work to control line flow with minimal friction, enhancin.
