A timeless, classic design that gives the angler more power in their rigging and presentation, the Hogy Protail Thumper Swimbaits take Hogy's decade plus of knowledge and experience in the fishing industry along with angler feedback to create this functional, durable, and easy to use swimbait. This swimbait is constructed of a heavy duty blended soft plastic material that is infused with high-visibility UV pigment, providing superior durability and easier identification for predators in low-vis situations. Its tapered tail delivers natural action for both slow and fast retrieves, while its fish attracting scale disperses more water and adds to the realism of this bait. A flattened nose accommodates a variety of jig heads including Hogy's Ultra-Barbarian Jigheads, while the molded in slot starting from the nose and exiting towards the baits mid-section provides easier rigging that gets the job done right every time. This bait also features a "Battle Pocket" in the mid-section that allows the jig hook to exit easily, while also helping to improve the baits durability by reducing the jig hooks ability to twist, turn, and rip the soft plastic.
