Freshly redesigned for 2021 to meet the demands of tournament level bass anglers, the Shimano Curado Spinning Rods showcase improved strength and casting performance over their predecessors. Now built on blanks featuring Shimano's famed Hi-Power X technology, the Curado Bass Rods are stronger and better performing than ever before. Hi-Power X blanks feature an outer layer of carbon tape that tightly winds the blank in opposite directions for enhanced torsional rigidity and heightened responsiveness. Hi-Power X blanks are revered for their ability to provide much more accurate casts by reducing blank twist and ovalization, while providing precise power transfer and control when fighting a fish. In terms of componentry, these rods are fitted with Fuji tangle-free K guides with Faz Lite inserts for precision line management and smooth casting. Shimano's CI4+ Reel Seats enhance sensitivity by more effectively transmitting vibrations into the hand and help contribute to the rod's lightweight and exceptionally well balanced feel. Durable EVA split grip handles provide a secure grip and comfort for all day casting.
