By internal rigging the bait, it allows for a more natural fall and gliding action, mimicking the movement of a live baitfish. The lead itself is spread further out along the shank of the hook, causing the bait to be rigged 1/8 to 1/4 inch behind the nose of the bait. This gives the bait a more natural fall and gliding action when compared to the typical weight forward jig head. Its integrated wire weed guard keeps your bait free from debris and other vegetation, keeping your favorite bait ready to fish cast after cast.
