The Jackall Pompadour has gained a reputation of being one of the most unique and deadly topwater baits available. It's not a buzzbait, it's not a popper, it's not a walking bait, it's just simply the Pompadour and it belongs in your tackle box. The Pompadour produces a one of a kind "crawling" action with an un-matched body roll with the use of its metal wings fixed on the lateral sides of the bait. This thing literally does the freestyle stroke across the surface! Also implemented is a small propeller on the tail and an internal rattle to create the ultimate ruckus. The Pompadour aims to effectively imitate small birds, large insects, or amphibians traversing the top of the water column. Regardless of what the target fish thinks its eating, one thing is clear, this bait gets bit! Unlike walking baits or poppers, achieving the proper action is super easy. Simply retrieve the Pompadour on a slow to medium speed retrieve and allow the bait to do the work. The Pompadour is easy to work and a joy to cast, as the metal wings collapse forward on the cast giving the lure an aerodynamic profile.
