The rod blank of the GLF B utilizes Shimano's Diaflash technology, where diagonally wrapped carbon tape form an array of "X" patterns on the butt section. With this, greater advantage is given to the angler as it works to prevent rod twist and enhances overall hook setting power. The actions of each rod blank lean on the more moderate side, ideal for slinging baits and mitigating chances of pulled hooks with soft mouthed trout. Lining the length of each rod, a Titanium Oxide guide train delivers great casting performance and corrosion resistance to the harsh salt environments. Hybrid EVA and Rubber cork grips not only look good but are great additions for durability and comfort for all day use. Their shorter butt section is ideal for wading and consistent casting. A custom Shimano reel seat locks down your favorite inshore reel, completing the package for inshore domination.
