This feature delivers overwhelming drag performance during blistering runs by powerful game fish by dissipating heat away from the spool to reduce drag-force drop caused by friction. The Heatsink Drag also provides insulation against potentially damaging heat flowing into the line, ensuring that line strength is preserved during long drawn out battles. A slew of other proprietary Shimano technologies make their return to solidify the Twin Power SW C as a top contender among offshore spinning reels.
