Built to handle the toughest of surf conditions, the Tsunami Forged Surf Spinning Rods utilize advanced materials and design to give the angler the upper hand on their next outing. At the core of this rod series is its proprietary 3-ton blank, featuring HALO Carbon Technology and a 100% nano-carbon scrim construction throughout its entire length. This combination of materials and technologies yields a blank that not only is resoundingly tough but is lightweight in form, with serious carbon density to raise sensitivity to the max. Anglers may notice that the blanks themselves are thinner in diameter then other surf rods they compare to, however its design and material choices are optimized with thicker blank walls in order to maintain crisp actions, superior lifting power, and rugged durability. Two-piece models utilize a tip to butt ferrule system, enhancing joint stability, balance, and strength, with a 70/30 split for a true one-piece feel. Lining the length of each rod are Fuji K-styled stainless-steel guides with Si C rings and a Gunmetal finish that not only looks good but resists the elements and are glare free. Guide sizing, spacing, and overall placement were painstakingly thought through for optimal braid flow to enhance casting distance with less effort on the anglers part. Ergonomic grips are overlayed with textured rubber shrink for comfort and good traction in hand but is also a durable option to overcome the harsh elements the surf can dish out. A premium Fuji TVS reel seat accommodates your favorite reel, with double lock nut to mitigate any slippage, along with a Fuji rubber butt cap designed with enough grip to stay put against waders, wetsuits, and more.
