Borrowing its profile from one of the most popular crankbaits in history, the Strike King KVD 2.5 Wake Bait uses its proven design to trigger the most exciting topwater strikes. Built from the same body as the renowned KVD 2.5 Squarebill, the KVD 2.5 Wake Bait substitutes the square diving lip for a nearly vertically angled bill that causes the bait to roll and wobble as it swims about an inch below the surface. The result is a rippling commotion and visible wake that that piques the curiosity of bass nearby, while the internal rattle calls fish from a distance. Unlike many similarly sized wake baits, the KVD 2.5 Wake Bait tracks true at a variety of speeds and won't blow out when fished quickly. Perfect for covering large amounts of water on a steady retrieve, throw the wake bait around shallow banks, grass flats, and over weed beds while preparing yourself for explosive and truly exciting topwater strikes.
