Crafted for a transformative summer adventure, Scholastic Scholar Zone Summer Powered by Bell Xcel is a comprehensive K-8 reading & writing and math program that combines excellent print instruction with a digital platform that includes a powerful program planner, professional development and more. Built on evidence-based practices and aligned with the Science of Reading, it incorporates instructional best practices to drive consistent outcomes and academic gains. Five to six weeks of 90-minute daily instruction in math features a variety of engaging whole-group, small-group, independent learning and writing activities. Students learn best when they're given access to instruction based on the science of reading research. The Reading and Writing curriculum aligns with these principles and practices, ensuring a powerful and effective learning experience for all scholars.
