Each step is covered with plush carpet.The 6? high steps have three models which include standard 18? widths, narrow 12? widths, and an extra deep model for pets that need extra room.The sides are made of solid oak or maple hardwood, not a thin veneer. The carpet on the steps is recessed onto the wood edges for a clean look. Each step is 6" high which has been proven to be the best for most pets. The standard width is 18" and each step 10 1/2" deep. In addition we have Extra Deep Steps for pets who take one step at a time.All models come complete with no assembly required.
