JH X Tensira Porter Pillows

Stripes get a fresh, new look with our JH x Tensira Porter Pillows. These timeless throw pillows were created in collaboration with Tensira a celebrated textile house founded by a Guinean and Finnish husband-and-wife duo that blends Scandinavian aesthetics with ancestral West African weaving and dyeing techniques. We dreamed up Porters deceptively simple design in-house, drawing on the motifs found on antique French parquet flooring to create an unexpectedly dimensional, blocky feel. Tensiras team of skilled craftswomen then brought our design to life using cotton that was spun and woven by hand and traditional indigo-dyeing techniques that have been passed down for generations. Finally, we finished them off with plush down and feather pillow inserts for soft, sink-in comfort. We couldnt be happier with the end result, which blends a blue, black and white palette with European elegance and global authenticity.
