Pairing a 19th century-inspired pottery design with a swirling marbleized motif, the Marbled Cup and Saucer will add a layer of antique interest to any table setting. These delicate dishes come to us from renowned ceramicist Astier de Villattes Paris workshop, housed in what was once the atelier of Napoleons own silversmith. There, this piece was handcrafted from black terracotta following old school methods passed down for generations. Rather than the brands signature milky white glaze, however these pieces are patterned with a reproduction of a multi-colored vintage marbled endpaper, taken from celebrated designer John Derians expansive collection of antique images.
