A riff on our timeless JH x Tensira Kendall Pillow, this throw pillow was created in collaboration with Tensira a celebrated textile house founded by a Guinean and Finnish husband-and-wife duo that blends Scandinavian aesthetics with ancestral West African weaving and dyeing methods. We dreamed up Kendalls original design in-house, drawing on vintage French ticking and the varied band sizes found on Indias traditional striped dhurrie rugs. Tensiras team of skilled craftswomen then brought our design to life using cotton that was spun and woven by hand and traditional indigo-dyeing techniques that were passed down for generations. Once completed, smaller sections of this fabric were then carefully stitched together to create a series of dimensional diamond-like shapes. Finally, we finished it with a plush down and feather pillow insert for soft, sink-in comfort. We couldnt be happier with the end result, which perfectly blends European elegance with global authenticity. Great for adding a little interest to a favorite armchair as a single, we also love our Kendall Diamond Pillow layered with other JH x Tensira Pillows for an effortlessly chic feel. 22" x 22" 100% cottonhand spun and woven hand dyed following traditional indigo dyeing techniques envelope zipper closure down and feather inserthandmade in the republic of guineajayson home x tensira.
