A short-lived and almost forgotten decorative art, domino papers were ornate hand-blocked papers used to line boxes, books and the walls of small alcoves and corridors in 18th-century homes, created by Frances guild of paper makers, or dominotiers. Founded by a pair of heritage restorers, Antoinette Poisson is dedicated to preserving the dominotiers traditional print-making techniques while also reviving an appreciation for their historic craft. A reproduction of an original mid-18th century design, Torrent features a stylized floral pattern in neutral tones and pops of vibrant blue. Weve paired it with a simple brown cord, which completes its vintage feel while also allowing you to adjust its drop from the ceiling.
