Bring a vibrant pop of color to your sofa or bed with our gorgeous Val Pillow. Made from super-soft silk velvet, Val is crafted following traditional ikat techniques a centuries-old resist-dyeing process that originated in Central Asia. In this method, threads are wrapped around a frame and individually tied off with pigment-resistant palm fibers before dyeing and weaving. With each new dye color, fibers are added or removed to create a colorful and uniquely intricate motif. Bold and bright, Val is patterned with abstract, diamond-like shapes in eye-catching shades of pink, purple and red on a cream-colored ground. Weve finished it with neutral linen backing, a hidden zipper closure and a plush down and feather insert.
