Our Swedish Seascape Tray will whisk you away to a rugged shoreline, where cold, brackish waves crash against a rocky coast. We created this JH exclusive in collaboration with renowned designer John Derian, who, since 1989, has delighted decor enthusiasts everywhere with handmade decoupaged goods crafted from his expansive collection of 18th and 19th century images. Inspired by Derians process and our own love for all things vintage, we sourced this moody seascape painting from the personal collection of our very own Chief Creative Officer, Devin Kirk. I picked this piece up while sourcing for the shop in Stockholm, he recalls. I just couldnt help but keep it for my own collection! Derian and his skilled team of artisans have expertly reproduced this beloved one-of-a-kind find under handblown glass in his NYC studio, creating a beautiful decoupaged dish that captures every brushstroke and unique characteristic of the original artwork.
