THREESTEP Barrel Technology is a multi-step inner tube design that optimizes performance and strength throughout the barrel. Along with this, Mantra Plus also includes Tuned Balance Performance, the same tried and true inner barrel system. This system features a lower barrel compression in the outer shell to help extend the sweet spot and maximize the trampoline effect upon contact. To allow for a smooth transition from handle to barrel, Rawlings included their innovative Zero Loss Collar. This collar is an innovative TPU material that is designed to eliminate drag and vibration on swings. The Zero Loss Collar on the Mantra Plus is also designed to provide a stiffer connection and more stiff handle compared to the traditional Rawlings Mantra. Rawlings has also teamed up with Blast Softball to allow for players to apply their Blast sensor directly to the knob of the Mantra Plus.
