The Winland Buffer Tube ("TEMP-B-T") is a 40mL glass tube with bonded septa (grommet) for firm containment of wired temperature sensors with buffering agent, such as Winland TEMP-G-B, to monitor critical environments and minimize alarms as a part of the Winland Critical Monitoring Solution. TEMP-B-T is a sensor accessory for: TEMP-L-W, TEMP-H-W, TEMP-L-S, TEMP-L-W, TEMP-UL-S & EAPro -ULS. Winland recommends using glycerin (Temp-G-B) with the Buffer Tube. The operating range for glycerin is -47.2 to +77.0 F to (-44.0 to +25.0 C). To monitor temperature below freezing 32 F (0 C), glycerin must be mixed with water, maximum low limit of -47.2 F (-44.0 C). Follow instructions for mixing solution with water (distilled water is recommended). Features: Slows the sensor rate-of-change versus fast-reacting air temperature readingMonitor temperatures above and below freezingAvoid nuisance alarms for cooler/freezer defrost cycles.
