These co-extruded vacuum pouches are made from a cost-effective film that meets FDA and USDA requirements for use with food products. The mil thick, seven-layer mixture of polyethylene and nylon resins provides excellent performance, and its ability to stretch allows the material to conform to unique product shapes. The co-extruded vacuum pouches have high impact resistance and a low oxygen transfer rate that makes the material popular with food processors packaging meat, fish, nuts, dried fruit, jerky, and snack products. These pouches offer excellent clarity, strength, impact resistance, and flexibility. Their superior barrier properties ensure both oxygen and moisture vapor transmission. These vacuum pouches extend shelf life for a variety of food products.
