The SC8 series scalers accept thepopular octagon shank chisels andaccessories. As with the SC4series, all impacting parts aremanufactured of hardened steeland precision ground to ensurelongevity under tough conditions.The tools operate at a powerful4,300 blows per minute.The SC8 series feature a positivelockchisel retainer. This retainerkeeps the chisel securely locked inplace while making changes easywith a quick twist of the wrist. TheSC8 comes with 19 - 5" (125 mm)needles (7" (175 mm) are optional),and needle length is infinitelyvariable by sliding the sleeve to thedesired position and tightening withan Allen wrench. The lever throttleallows teasing to provide superiorcontrol of the tool in any application.
