November 2010 gedachte die Deutsche Gesellschaft fr Psychiatrie, Psychotherapie und Nervenheilkunde (DGPPN) in einer Gedenkveranstaltung zur Psychiatrie im Nationalsozialismus der Opfer nicht zu rechtfertigender Forschung, Zwangssterilisierung und Ermordung psychisch kranker Menschen sowie erzwungener Emigration von Psychiatern in der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus. Die wissenschaftliche Fachgesellschaft bat in der Veranstaltung alle Opfer und Angehrige um Entschuldigung fr das Unrecht und Leid, das ihnen von deutschen Verbnden und ihren Psychiatern zugefgt wurde. Beigefgt als DVD ist der Mitschnitt der Gedenkveranstaltung in deutscher und synchronisierter englischer Fassung.
