The Trex 6306 Ice Traction Cleats are a lightweight, overshoe ice traction device that combines tungsten carbide studs with a boot-like rubber lug tread to provide durable, enhanced traction on ice and snow. Stretchable one-piece design offers superior grip to prevent slip and fall injuries on the ice. Multi-curved surfaces stretch to easily wrap around boots and shoes for a superior fit. These ice grippers feature 14 permanent tungsten carbide studs (28/pair) that have been strategically placed for enhanced grip on slippery terrain. Tungsten carbide is extremely tough and resistant to wear. This means that the studs can last a long time even with frequent use on rough, icy terrain-all while providing better traction and a stronger grip to the surface. The addition of a boot-like rubber lug tread improves the device's versatility, allowing for better traction on mixed surfaces such as snow, slush, and mud, in addition to ice. The lugs can dig into softer materials for a firmer grip, which is something that studs alone might not do as effectively. The rubber lug tread can also provide more comfort than studs alone by distributing pressure more evenly across the foot, which can reduce fatigue during prolonged use. It will fit over any style of boot or shoe for traction and stability during winter work or other winter outdoor activities. The stretchable rubber allows you to step into these ice traction cleats for fast and easy on/off. These snow cleats are lightweight and can be folded small enough to be stored in a pocket or pack when not being worn. These are the ideal winter walking ice cleats for ice or snow.
