Trex 6317 Mid-Sole Ice Cleats are lightweight ice grips for boots and shoes that provide tenacious traction and extra stability on ice and snow. Featuring a thick rubber wedge, these ice cleats are designed for boots or shoes that have a defined heel. The wedge is thicker in height and hugs up against the boot's heel so that the studs make contact with the ground and allow for stable walking. When not in use, the ice cleats easily rotate to the top or side of boot or shoe to make for easy transitioning from outdoor to indoor work surfaces. These mid-sole ice cleats feature 12 rugged tungsten carbide studs that are molded in for extra-firm grip on icy and snowy terrain. Tungsten carbide is a very hard compound. It rates 9 on the Mohs scale for hardness, second only to a diamond. Because it is so hard, the spike can be thinner, providing better penetration and sharper grip. Durable webbing with rubberized thread provides a secure fit and stability that will stay in place for winter work or recreation. This ice cleat is lightweight and is small enough to be stored in a pocket or pack when not being worn. A woven reflective accent on the straps help make wearers more visible in dark environments. These mid-foot traction devices are designed for workers needing superior grip in icy and snowy environments, particularly those needing to seamlessly transition from outdoor to indoor work without scratching surfaces. Ideal for trucking, loggers, warehousing, beverage delivery, construction, railway, movers, ladder work and more.
