Mit Rckgriff auf unterschiedliche theoretische und methodologische Prmissen ist in den letzten Jahren die Verbindung von Biographie- und Diskursforschung diskutiert worden. Das Buch trgt die Debatten zusammen und stellt verschiedene methodologische berlegungen vor, die das Zusammendenken, Verbinden und Weiterfhren von Biographie- und Diskursforschung nicht nur mglich, sondern auch notwendig erscheinen lassen. Im Kern drehen sich die unterschiedlichen Vorschlge dabei im ersten Teil des Buches um die Konzipierung des Subjekts, um ein (theoretisches) Verstndnis von Agency und um die Frage nach Macht(verhltnissen). Die empirischen Beispiele im zweiten Teil des Bandes zeigen dann, dass und wie narrative Erzhlungen und Diskursformationen miteinander verwoben sind. Dabei wird an konkreten Beispielen gezeigt, wie eine methodische Verbindung von Biographie- und Diskursanalyse mglich und umsetzbar ist.
